Hood River Harvest Fest
Harvest Fest takes places on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, October 7th – 9th, at the Hood River waterfront. This year is the 40th celebration of local produce and food products, plus arts and crafts, wine, cider and beer tastings. Make it an adventure and skip the parking hassles by going by transit!
GETTING THERE & BACK FROM PORTLAND (CAR FREE)
TO HARVEST FEST FROM PORTLAND:
- There are four Columbia Gorge Express shuttles you can catch from Gateway that arrive in Hood River an hour later at the CAT Terminal. Each has an immediate connection there to the Hood River Connect shuttle which takes you to the Harvest Festival on the waterfront 10 minutes later:
- The 8:20am option arrives at 9:40am
- The 9:50am option arrives at 11:10am
- The 12:50pm option arrives at 2:10pm
- The 2:20pm option arrives at 3:40pm

Friday, Oct 7 from 1pm - 6pm Saturday, Oct 8 from 10am - 6pm Sunday, Oct 9 from 10am - 5pm
BACK TO PORTLAND:
- To return, catch the Hood River Connect at the Port Transfer stop (N 1st st & River side) just one block South of the festival near the gas station. It will take you to the CAT Terminal 10 mintues later where you will immediately catch the Columbia Gorge Express to arrive at the Gateway station in Portland an hour later:
- The 2:10pm option arrives in Portland at 3:40pm
- The 3:40pm option arrives in Portland at 5:10pm
- The 5:15pm option arrives in Portland at 6:40pm
The PediCab is also a fun way to get to the CAT Terminal which only takes 15 minutes and costs less than $20

HOOD RIVER LOCALS
Take the bus to the waterfront to avoid the parking hassles
- Catch the Hood River route which circles every 45 minutes between the waterfront and the heights for only $1 per ride.

GETTING THERE & BACK FROM THE DALLES
Note: All of these buses also stop in Mosier.
FROM THE DALLES:
- Catch the 11am shuttle from the Link Terminal in The Dalles to arrive at the Hood River Port stop (N. 1st & Riverside) at 11:20am.
- There is also a 7:30am shuttle that arrives at 8am if you want to grab breakfast or stroll through the Farmers Market ahead of time.
RETURNING TO THE DALLES:
- To return, catch the 3:45pm Hood River bus at the Port Transfer stop (N 1st st & River side) just one block South of the festival near the gas station. It will take you to the CAT Terminal where you will catch the 4:15pm bus to The Dalles which arrives at 4:45pm.
